That has to be a pretty spendy piece right there. With the capabilities of a stock head, I wouldn't spend a whole lot going with an aluminum head unless you could drastically improve the flow. Like perhaps a dual overhead cam head.

It's 8 grand for the whole head setup. Out of the box the Indy head will outflow a massaged 12 Valve head without the weight. Stock 150cfm, massaged 12 valve head 250ish, Indy head 300cfm. I'm sure there's meat left in the head to carve on it more if you wanted to. (*All price and flow info from DP mag*) For what guys are paying to work over 12 valve heads and get them to flow big numbers, the Indy head really isn't anymore money.

Indy heads make some good stuff. I used to ave a set on a 472 stroker in an old charger race car. Massive improvement. If had 8 grand and was at that level where it would benefit me, id do it

Hamilton Diesel is also coming out with a new head for the 12vs.However it is geared more towards daily drivers and the lower competition levels. My understanding is they are working on the 12v heads first since they are used more in competition. The 24v heads will come later.

I guess that gives me time to save up for a 24v head
