up to you, a full replacement is more expensive. if you can be without a vechile for a couple days, most shops will take some off the cost for a bench job. get a buddy to help you take and it out and take it to a trusted trans shop, and have em rebuild your stocker. No reason to get a brand new tranny

what is it gonna cost roughly to rebuild it and will it need a different torque converter as well also what is the cheapest fuel pressure gauge out there after the last time i poured a bunch of money out on gauges and didn't get a fuel pressure one I can't make myself put out that much like that again it was $600 for my boost, pyro and trans temp to buy and have installed

put in a good torque converter and a valve body ,don't put in a cheap one from the local trans. shop,I have listened to them twice(2 diff shops) and will not do it again ,getting a yr or less out of one and when I pull the trans. I get them rebuilt I am without a truck right now because of it and it is snowing and I should be plowingI am going with BD this time to save the brokerage fee because they are in Canada

Yeah, a Goerend trans without billet shafts...it will run you $3550. The only thing you shouldn't do with this transmission that you can with a billet shaft is boosted launches. That price is everything...triple disc torque converter, upgraded 1-2 steel shift lever, upgraded valve body, all new internals, drilled valve body to allow oil flow/cooling while at idle, in park, or coasting down hills...I'm sure there are other manufacturers with an equally good product, but not many with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty, and this price range...my .02 cents.
