Default Intercoolers

So I'm not planning on getting an intercooler for a while, but I'm just curious on which one you guys think is the best.

Another question too, why is the Turbonetics Spearco Intercooler so much smaller than the other intercoolers like BD, HTT, Banks, etc.

Just doing some research for the future

The BD intercoolers are awesome intercoolers. The extruded tube design is far superior to the stuffed tube design of other brands. Here is a link for there intercoolers to see what i am talking about on the intercoolers. BD Power - Product: Charge Air Coolers.

I was looking at the different ones on Alligator Performance, thats what got me wondering about the differences.

I was thinking that the BD looked like a better design with the open passages.

So why are the Spearco's so much smaller?

On our site I think the bd is a generic pic and i believe its a third gen intercooler. Here is the 2nd gen cooler pic.
