We have sold numerous BD intercoolers to sled pullers and drag racers that are running monster compound set ups and have not had a issue yet!! And they have seen noticable drops in egts as well with the BD's. Not saying Spearco is bad but BD is definitely the best bang for the buck

At what point do you think a air to air should be upgraded?

I personally believe its one of the most important mods you can do to make your truck run efficiently and should be done sooner than later. Since you have twins I would say now and same if you are running a larger single turbo like a 62mm and up. Its the next big purchase for my truck. These aftermarket intercoolers free up the air flow and cool the air so much better you will see a big drop in egts and also see higher boost numbers. With a stock intercooler you will see prolly a 10 psi drop in boost from hot to cold side. With BD's they guarantee only a 1psi drop from hot to cold. So you would roughly be gaining 9 psi give or take of boost and dropping your egts

The B.D intercooler keeps my truck cool with 150s, a hotrod pump and a quad box. Highest egt. is 1400. I'm still running the superbee single too. I would recommend it to anyone.

I think i might be more of a believer of the BD intercooler.

I'd like to see a cross section of the other intercoolers

They are the stuffed tube design of the stock intercooler just like in the bd pics. The only other intercooler I would think of running if they ever come out with second gen ones would be the AFE Bladerunner intercoolers. They are still stuffed tube designed but they use fins to spread the air out better than other intercoolers. So its supposed to help cool the air off more. But I dunno if they are planning on releasing one for the 94-02 models

So they're pretty much all the same on the inside besides the BD intercooler?

Does anybody run a Banks Technicooler or know of someone that runs one?
