What ever happened with the monster pumps??? I only saw a few dyno runs and haven't heard anything else? I dropped off the forums for a while so I may have missed it. I've been spending more time online recently... I've been at home with the new baby all week and I'm getting stir crazy! Had to post derogatory messages !!!!

I noticed.
Some worked some didn't. The ones that worked seemed to be pretty good. IIs Dragon Fire pump is pretty much the same way. There was a lot of talk about them when they first came out but you don't hear much about them lately. Makes me think they aren't that great. No horsepower records from either as far as I know.

You know Gus posted those first numbers but never followed up with any further numbers that I know of. I've heard folks say that there's people making huge power but I've yet to see any dyno proven numbers.
I'll just say no fast truck has anything on a Happy healthy beautiful baby girl! I might build another one some day but right now my little girl is my life!

Yeppers born Last monday valentines day at 4:34am, and I dont honestly think I've slept since... You hear people talk about how amazing it is, but you just cant understand till you have one!
Far cheaper to P-Pump....Just like every other vp-44 monsters were a scam to make you pay more money for something you didnt need, instead now the monsters they can say " No warranty" you break, you buy new one....no refunds!!!!! You know....bosch should call it their "city Pump" (for those wondering

2 YEARS? I've only known Christoph for like 4 YEARS, but now the more I think about it, I gues it really has been about 2 YEARS since he's been hangin around TST. Dang, I guess time passes quick when you have a girlfriend nagging your every minute.

But yes, TST is actually working on this box, Ill gladly show it to anyone locally, heck i dont care.
why its not on any other forums is pretty simple, why, because this not a priority project for TST nor is it something thats being advertised as of right now and I'm the only one testing it for Mark and since I choose not to post on the other forums, thats probably why its not on any other forums. Call BS on it if you want, Ill gladly show it to anyone granted i just have the test board not the fancy packaged ones yet.
And yes the VP is limited mechanically, thats nothing new nor has anyone said otherwise. Its just that Mark says hes come up with a different way to exploit those limits in a different fashion. So far, it seems to be working. I wouldnt call the VP market dead, as these trucks age and rack up mileage, they become cheaper in price and more people gain access to them. Some of those people may want to start turning up their trucks some or improve their mileage. I wouldnt call the VP market dead, slowing yes, dead no
Now as for the time delay i have no clue, Mark told me that the box was targeted for release by Dec 7th, that didnt happen due to issues that we have since solved, as for whats continuing to hold it up, I do not know.

Okay, so we're not saying more power we're saying a cleaner tune which could in turn lead a more efficient combustion process and allowing for better mileage? The tuning ability with the VP44 is honestly pushed if you ask me. Why do i say that? Tuners looked at ever PID the ECM could use to better control fuel and combustion. the reality of the "Pop" style injection system is that there is no control. We can change pop pressures but the system in it's self is pretty much locked in, It pumps fuel, It opens the injectors, and combustion begins. Which is the main reason everyone went CR, We can incorporate multiple sprays out of each injector allowing for complete control of the combustion event.
I guess what im getting at is every aspect of VP tuning has been explored in depth with no change. The pump moves fuel at pressure and opens the injectors. We can control timing and fuel amounts (up to the amount of fuel the pump can mechanically handle) but thats about it.
I just dont understand how a company cant find it feasible to continue research in technology thats in all honesty dead. The pump was a stand in until further developments were made in emission control to meet new regulations. From what I've found it was never designed for a "truck" application.
These are my opinions based on what I've learned , I'm more than open to hearing others thoughts on the subject
