Default water pump

Are the electric water pumps really needed when you turn more than 3000 rpm oh the truck is p-pumped and can spin 4k

No to the question.I would be more worryed about the fan,and fan mount.

they change them out to gain hp by not turning the pump.

after you blow a couple 3 gaskets from over pressurizing the coolant system then the electric ones are great

my electric took a poo on me and running a marine one till it's fixed, the pully is almost twice the size of the stocker

I run mine to 4200 without issue. I have electric fans and stock water pump.

does the fact thats it a 53 block have any issues it has 200k and still no crack would high coolant pressure make it more likely to crack?
