Im not causing Drama. Suck it up princess.

Why would people come here to find a shop? - they can do that simply by opening the yellow pages. You obviously dont know this, but people come here to learn how to do things themselves - thats WHY THIS SITE EXISTS and why so many people spend a lot of their free time here - to share information on diesel maintenance and performance.

Yes, there is lots of options here - Edge Comp is good too and can be had for less money. Theres also the Quad Adrenaline and the Smarty (which is nice because it also reads and clears engine codes). if you are worried about your transmission - I wouldnt add anything more than an Edge EZ (which is around 50 hp or so), or a Smarty (just dont run it on level 9 or 10). Even adding a small amount of extra fuel will have a detrimental effect on your transmission.

Another option is a set of good injectors. But that would give you the same fueling all the time and you lose the adjustablilty.

The important thing here (as I already explained above) is making sure you have the supporting mods (intake, exhaust, better lift pump, guages - if you want analogue type, and maybe a transmission upgrade) done before you try to add fuel and increase performance.

The Edge EZ (65hp) box is about all a stock lift pump will support, even then you have to watch your fuel pressure pretty close.

Same deal with a stock tranny, much more than +65hp you will kill a stock tranny/torque converter pretty quick.

I have an EZ on my truck and I like it, good MPG and just enough extra power to give you the itch for more.

The Princes says The Smarty is an excellent flash tuner! I on the other hand I will say that Quadzilla is an excellent choice! I will still say this! With times being as they are keep it local if you plan to buy! If they can't sell? buy from our venders! This sit is all about information! If your able to turn a wrench by all means have at it. but if things get difficult you might need somebody near by to help you understand whats going on especially if it is your daily driver.
Dr. EVIL what do you have against some of the local shops? Granted some might be out there and messed up. But then again some Performance parts sites do the same. Then you have some of your armchair know it all types, that think they can diagnose a problem on a truck unseen. If it's basic parts changing, upgrades, routine maintenance, and basic diagnostics this is the site! you might find a few ASE, A/S or higher degree professionals, and a few manufacturer certified technicians.

im on a budget as a lot of other people, and it helps if you can do it your self, quadzilla has a zxt module its not to bad but like they said u need lift pump and exaust, or a boost fooler depending the module, some are built in. but like was said earler cummins are ez to work on (dont be scared u got ? we got ansers). just from experince i have had, buy good parts at first because u get the bug and cant stop and there will be no need to upgrade later on. just trust me. i love my quazilla adr.
good luck bombing your truck and enjoy
