I'm lookin to upgrade my steering on my 02 4x4 diesel. just had all 4 balljoints replaced, ended up going with the extreme duty by mcquay norris. My question is when changing over from the factory "y" steering to the hd "T" type 98-99 steering linkage have any of you guys who have done this up grade run into clearance problems with the steering damper shock. I'm currently running a FOX steering damper with a KORE stabilaizer bracket with 3 u bolts. would like some input on this, judging from some pics of this upgrade it looks like there might be some clearance problems with this .
