Bomb-proof bolt on 2nd gen steering! Cheap!
There's an outfit called Steer & Gear in Columbus that does great things with these type boxes. I've used them a couple times and they do quality work. They can at least rebuild to your box to better than new spec, or possibly sell you a replacement outright. Give them a call:

Glad this is working for many of you! I have even heard that there are people finding the steering kit now from Mopar for <$200 with club/wholesale discounts! That's hard to beat.
Can anyone that has retro-fitted this to the older 2nd gens ('99 and older?) post up what taper they used to ream the knuckles and pitman arm?

has anyone done this on the older 2nd gen trucks like a 96 or so? if so what size reemer have you used?!! im getting a new box and would like to upgrade tho this 2010 t style!! im so sick of having steering issues!!
I did this on my 07 4wd and it was great. I just drilled and screwed grease fittings into the assembly so I was able to lube it. This should help it last longer for you.
