Id look into a 62mm turbo. I think a super b special with only 100 horse sticks would be alittle laggy ecspecially for towing. My 62 was aweosme when i just had my 75's. Now its way to small

The wastegate came on the turbo when I bought it, so I don't really know a before and after. I can only make 36 PSI boost with my set up, and the actuator is set to 42 PSI. IMO, a waste of money, just plug the wastegate hose.

with Banks making an actuator that opens at 42 PSI, I'd say they think that that is the limit. I'd agree, if not a little less. 38 maybe, your running into headgasket danger past 40. Not to say it will blow at 40 on the nose, but fatigue will happen over time.

I don't recommend running over 40psi without headstuds. Most people say you can go past 45psi but i don't trust that. I prefer to see 34 to 36 with stock head bolts. Head gaskets are a pita if you blow one you need to get the head decked and maybe the top of the block as well IMO

Depending on your goals but a 62mm turbo and 100-150hp injectors work great. A Super B Special will be a bit laggy.

If i plugged the waste gate hose on my truck, would i need to worry about making too much boost for not having head studs?
