Default What injectors to go with

Ive been wanting to switch my hot running 150 jammers with something different. Thinking DDP 200's or Fireball 200's. Dont tow much, but looking to decrease my egt's, decrease spool time on the 64/71/14 BD Super B Special, and gain some power. Reason for this post, im curious about 370's or RV 275's... Dont know much about them or how they run and the benefits/downsides. Daily driver truck with the mods in my sig. Obviously the 275's or 370's are significant cheaper to do, just wondering if i would see my desired results with a setup like that. My main concern right now is spooling faster and running cooler. Its laggy and easily hits 1450 degrees at a short period of wide open throttle with no load. In the future i wouldnt mind hookin a sled once or twice but i could only imagine what the temps would be there... I dont wanna melt the 6th cylinder or something stupid all because of a injector. Suggestions? Thanks!

From what I understand you can't go wrong with fireballs or ddps. Personally I'm looking at the fireballs because of the price and from what I've heard they are a great injector, maybe rawilliams will chime in in, he's got the fireball 65s and if I remember right he said with them he has low smoke, better starting qand I believe someone with the 150s said better smoother idle also. I'm actually planning to run almost the identical setup to yours, the 150s with the edge and a super b and then a 4 inch exhaust straight piped or possibly 4 into 5 into 6 or 8 inch stacks with a high ram intake and 3 piece exhaust mani.

If I'm not mistaken rv275's are only 50 horsers. And 370's are twelve valve injectors. I just installed a set of custom honed industrial injections 220's super dragon flows which are awesome. Ddp's and II Injectors are basically the same injectors.

You bet! AS wyodiesel92 says I am really happy with my Fireball 65's, and when my S400 starts feeding my HX35, I'll be going with Fireball Pro 150's. Great customer service from Luke at Diesel Dawgs. There is no way I can get the same deal up in Canada, even after shipping.

I think they are either cummins rv injectors or just the nozzles. I'm sure a quick google search would tell you if someone else doesn't chime in.

Yes rv 275's are out of an rv with a cummins in it. Yeah i think you would like the 200's in your truck. I love my 220's but my 62 is to small now. But my truck wont go over 1350 egts wise.

Sounds like compounds are in order now I don't think id go with anything bigger than 150s using a single turbo. Too much smoke and too much fuel with not enough air. There is too many people in my town who are so obsessed with smoke that they hurt their engines and don't make the power they could if they had proper air flow. Personally I like smoke but not a ton, the smoke I get with my edge on level 5 with my stock turbo is plenty in my opinion. Around here you see more trucks anymore that are all blow and no go, I mean they are faster than my truck obviously but I even raced a guy and he had edge with injectors on a stock turbo and I kept up with him, he just blew tons of smoke throughout the entire powerband. Looks cool and make prius drivers mad but just seems like a waste. Id rather have a well running fast low smoke truck than a truck that blows tons of smoke and doesn't live up to its potential
