Default cant get fuel line off of tank for raptor install

Can someone help me out on how to do this? I keep reading the instructions and I'm just getting more and more frustrated when it won't come off....I'm squeezing the tabs on the back of the line and the retainer, well I guess more in front of if your looking at it from the middle underside but anyways I'm doing that and go to pull the fuel line and it won't budge. I'm getting so bent out of shape trying to do this and I've finished doing everything else just need to get this fuel line off and the new one on.

Damn. I spent almost 45 mins trying to get it off, took a break and decided to put everything else together and then went back to it and still nothing. I'm at the point I just want to break it off but that would be a bad idea

This maybe a dumb idea but it might work. I don't know much about dodges as I'm going by your user name assuming you have a dodge but try spraying a lil WD-40 on the connections and let it sit for a couple of mins then try getting them off the that should help.

Maybe before the WD40 use compressed air, if you have it. Like shop air at 100PSI+, get any and all crud out of there. I'm trying to think back when I did mine, there was a blue plastic retaining release clip still on the fitting. Does yours still have it? If not, nost parts stores will sell a fuel line disconnect tool.

I was having the same problem so I used a plastic tie strap and went around both tabs, tightened up strap to hold both tabs and hose connection came right off.

I got it off but I have a new problem. I can't get the lines to bleed to the filter. And the truck accidently started and now I ran the pump dry so I have to bleed the vp too.
