Default trans question

ok this just started this week, last week my truck was shifting real hard from first to second, this week it just barely is shifting to second gear, it pulls just fine in all the gears. its just when it shifts from first to second, i have to let off the throttle to make it shift. when it trys to shift it just revs all the way up. is there any "band-aid" fix that i can do just to patch it up for now? tryin to get a house and cant spend a lot on it right now if i dont have to. any info will help.

yeah what luke said its the cable in your apps box under the hood i adjusted mine fixed it, also have your adjusted your bands good idea to do that every 20000 miles one is outside the transmission and the other is inside the pan you can get pics to help you with that adjustment on dieselram.com
