Default Edge Juice w/Attitude Question

First I hope this makes sense. Remember I am new to Diesels so bare with me.

I seem to have my fueling and/or sensor issues straightened out and my truck seems to be running good at this point. I am ready to add fuel pressure and EGT gauges to the truck to help catch any issues before they become problems. While looking around for a good deal on a set of gauges and a pod I noticed the Edge Juice w/Attitude and read up on it. I realize it has 5 power settings and will monitor everything I can think of that would need monitoring, fuel pressure, EGT, transmission temp, etc, etc. I am wondering if the Juice w/Attitude is worth the extra money.

I currently have a Super Chips Flashpaq I use on the truck but I keep it in “Tow” mode most of the time and only change it every once in a while. The one thing I like about the Flashpaq is the ability to pull fault codes out of the ECM. But it didn’t find the camshaft position sensor error code so maybe it ain’t as good as I thought.

I use the truck for a daily driver, occasionally towing various items, camper, tractor, farming equipment and supplies, hay, other cars and truck, etc, etc. I am not interested in “drag racing” the truck or seeing how fast I can get it to go. As long as it will do what it does now I am satisfied with the performance of the truck. I do want to add an intake and exhaust system at some point to help with fuel mileage.

I know most everyone here has more knowledge than I do about diesel engines and the aftermarket parts for them, so I want to ask. From the personal experience of the experts out there, should I stop using the Super Chip and get the Juice instead of just the gauge kit? Or should I just buy the gauge kit and continue to use the Super Chip? Are the differences in the Juice and the Super Chip that much different? Are the gains worth the extra money? How reliable is the Juice compared to a gauge set? Will it last as long as a gauge set, the truck? Will I end up buying gauge anyway a few years from now because the Juice stopped working?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate the input,

KwS

Agreed I just got the edge and I'm super happy with it, love all the gauges and the power increase, I leave mine on level 3 which is drive mode and it gets me around town and on the highway perfectly with great fuel mileage too. Just know you'll need to invest in a fuel system either before or soon after if you want to be worry free about your vp44 and be able to give it full throttle without loosing too much fuel psi. The fuel system I'm looking at is called the raptor 150 which in my opinon is a good deal and from what I heart does everything you need to save the pump. A lot of guys around here may say you should go with the quad box and pulse monitor but I'm glad I went with the edge, from my understanding the quad will fuel harder for more power and has more power levels but the edge is a lot smoother and won't take out the pump nearly as quick. Plus the quad apparently has to be bought with an extra sensor to monitor fuel pressure and some will have to send in the box to have it setup for fuel pressure. As far as who to get it from I recommend luke at diesel dawgs or tony and mighty diesel, I talked to them both before getting it and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Sorry for the super long post just giving you the most info I can

I am very pleased with my Juice w/attitude as well. The alerts and features are very handy and offer great peace of mind. The gauges are not as accurate as a good brand name individual gauge, but if your not looking for bang on numbers, it does just fine. An example of this is my Attitude will show 31PSI boost at WOT, and my Auto Meter gauge reads 36PSI, I trust the mechanical gauge much more.
