Default hellman performance sump!

i was haveing some problems after my 2nd airdog 150 install with the pick up tube and getting air in the fuel causing my truck to miss very bad! i just installed the new hellman performance sump kit. this kit is awsome it mounts on the bottom of the tank. wich i think is a good idea. because the AD isnt sucking the fuel anymore. i can hear a the pump running freely now. unlike before it sounded like it was straining. and it stopped all problems no more 1/4 tank issues and no more air in the fuel.

just letting you guys know who might be haveing this problem

(puredieselpower.com) is the only place i found it online
and garret shields service is great!

Completely worth the $165 and shipping? I have been debating on one for a while now.

looks like a nice unit. what does it use for sealant to the tank? a rubber gasket? o-ring? or silicone sealant?

I would go with a draw straw I if you do not have the intank pump
Draw straw V if you do

I worry about clearance issues for a sump under the gas tank for a daily driver. For a track or sled pull only truck that would not be an issue.

Just what's in the link, but if somebody wants more as long as they speak quick I can get any they want. The tank just happens to be sittin on the ground right now while I replace the brake line that runs above it.

it was worth every penny in my mind. i dont think the clearence issues would be a problem unless your truck is a rock crawler or something like that. im not throwing any of the vulcan products under the buss im sure there great units ive just never tryed one and until now never knew they had aftermarket suction tubes.

i will post some pictures in a few days of the install im on my way to the bahamas for a mini vacation
