I have a friend with an 02 with 6 speed, 4x4, The only thing that has been done to it is he has had vp replaced. He wants to know what is the best bang for the buck in perfromance mods. What kind of ideas do you all have.

 

first off a fass airdog or raptor needs to be on it before he has to replace another vp. After that a edge juice or similar programmer with gauges fuel pressure is a must. a bhaf, set of rv injectors and he should be happy. 4" turbo back is a good idea too.

 

A good aftermarket lift pump is a must on these trucks. Then a good set of gauges or a performance box with a monitor.

Edge juice and an airdog or raptor, more than that and he should looking into a better clutch and a turbo.

The Tunnel Ram intake plate will also help with spool up and temperatures even on a stock truck.
