what would be the best turbo for makin 550+hp i was lookin at the super b special or the 64mm s300 or twins with my stock hx and the s300 then upgrade my stock hx when i have some more money. What do you guys think the beter choice is? single or twins?

 

twins will spool better and be cooler. they are about $1400 more though for a 300/400 kit, + you can sell your stock turbo if its not destroyed for $200-300

try to do it all at once so you don't have to buy a hotpipe 2x and do the install 2x.

 

so you would say twins is a better choice for me its my DD and i drag race it

 

Compounds are the best way to go, in any situation.

 

Yeah, I would highly recommend compounds. Your stocker will likely be too restrictive to produce 550 and keep everything cool, without an external wastegate.
