Default 01 Cummins 24 valve

Need some help / advice on 01 Cummins. Currently have 70,000 miles on Dodge. Got Banks 175 Hp Big hoss tuner with Smarty Stacked. 150 HP Inj. FASS Lift, Bosch Pump VP44, Super B Special turbo, 4" Line to 6" stack, High Ram intake, K&N open filter and Goerends triple disc covrtr with VB. Problem is Banks tuner safety S--t thats built in causes power to come in then go right out. Anyone know how to bypass safety S--t on Banks tuner???? Anyone had any experience with Banks and will they allow you to sign a waiver and get rid of safety, like Bully Dog??? If anyone can help or make suggestions please advise. Truck will not turn tires over on dry pavement. Spent alot of money on all equipment and was really expecting more than what I have!!!! I would appreciate any advice!

I dont really care much for banks products. I would just sale the Banks and get either a Edge Comp, Edge Juice with CS/CTS or Quadzilla Adrenaline with Pulse.

Banks stuff (akaS@it) does not work well on these trucks.Do u have gauges in the truck?Take out the banks and use the smarty on 9,torque setting on 6,mph set on 160 and report back.I know you spent alot of money on the banks stuff but take it off those 150s are going to fuel your truck just fine with your turbo.Your egts are probably making the banks cut back power.

hey Turbo20psi, just curious if there was a reason that you said to set the top speed at 160, and not max it out at 250?

The smarty adds 65 hp or so but, it takes care of most of the torque managament that is on the 01 and 02 autos.

No.

•Does not require a T-tap on the pump wire
•Adds up to +70 hp and +180 lb-ft with recommended airflow improvements
•Fully compatible with DynaFact electronic gauges
----->◦If a pyrometer is used, tuner will automatically be enabled with a Temperature Limiting Control feature to keep exhaust gas temperatures in a safe range
•Built-in torque converter clutch protection
◦When signal is delivered to lock the torque converter, additional fuel delivery is momentarily de-rated to eliminate clutch slippage
•Incorporates a mission-critical safety-circuit design that functions as an engine and transmission watchdog. The built-in self-diagnostics ensure that the device has no negative effect on the vehicle's electronics.
