I have mine on top of the dash on the left side. Plusses - It is a natural place to look for info - easy to see -not in the way and cheap with the velcro mount. I forgot you can pull it off easily and put it down on the floor when public parking so that nobody gets any ideas if they see it and want it -can move while still hooked up. One more - race? sure- my truck is stock no box on it - while in your lap on level 6!!! Minusses- kinda cheesy with the velcro mount but works.
