I have a question for you guys.. A buddy of mine just picked up a 24 valve similar to mine and was wondering if there was a system cheaper than a airdog or the FASS... He just doesn't want to burn his vp44 up.I told him to just go with the airdog like i have on my truck.. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

airdog is worth it 100% IMO. but they make the raptors and walbro pumps for the homebrew kits too

 

I wouldn't screw around... I myself got an Airdog 150... I DID have one of the aforementioned units.. The guy i bought my truck from had a Walbro pump, it had issues because it wasn't made for diesel i guess... So he put on a Holley Black... It leaked fuel because the seals also weren't made for diesel fuel. It died on me and it was only 6 months old!!! I replaced it with a knock off of the holley that is Summit labeled... Its ok but holds 11psi at idle and 7psi WOT. I will be installing my Airdog unit SOON! Dont skimp on something this important! I got mine for 499$

 

i paid the 599 for the ADII 165. i liked the filtration system alot and thought it was well worth the extra cash. its still cheaper and easier than replacing your IP

 

could get a raptor its a stand alone air dog

 

The place i got my AirDog from has the Raptor for 399$... Its worth the extra 100$ for the air/water separation and a way better filter don't you think? Just a matter of opinion you think?

 

New Fass Platinum Series is cheaper than the Airdog and still does both.
