More realistically - more like $2-3k or more.

Thats pretty much a guess though. I believe Sheid and/or Enterprise Engine has kits you can buy.

just finished mine, with a 175 pump all the front plate gears, throttle, ddp dvs, 4k gsk, lines, and a Diesel Pro cam... mine was $2575. SUPER CHEAP for all that stuff. my lines are .093 mild steel. i got most my lines from Aden at GOS Performance if your lookin to do it, find the parts off a scrapped 12v. i got my parts plus pump for like $1100 so there ya go

How do you like it? What are you using for injectors?

Theres a lot of misinformation on diesel forums saying the conversion isnt street friendly. Which just isnt true.

Once you sell the stuff you pull off it isnt that bad at all. I recommend finding a good pump and all the parts used, this will save alot of $$$. It's hard to put a cost on it because there are so many different things that can come up. I did a cam and a few other things at the same time. As far as being street friendly goes I love mine. I got lucky and did not have a tuning nightmare like some though. I put mine all together set the timing at 24*, pulled the plate out of the pump I had on, moved the AFC FF and it was perfect. I had 17 miles on my swap and got in the truck and drove it to NC 900 and some miles, daily drove it for 2 months, dynoed it, and drove it home with no problems. If anyone is close enough they are welcome to come go for a ride or look it over once it is back together. It's back in the shop for another surgurey right now.
