Default Crappy Performance Out Of Silver Bullet

So i got a Silver Bullet from II and a ats 3 piece manifold. I think i actually have less power now than with the hx35. I been talking with them on the phone and they think i got a boost leak as i can only muster up 32 or 33 pounds. I tried everything they recomended and still have a tremendous amount of lag and smokes like a coal mine. I think its just too big. What yall think?

Ok my turbo came with a adjustable one like that one. I might try tightening mine up. maybe it came set too low. but it still has horrible lag before it even gets close to hi boost.

well with that there is going to be alot more lag than a stock HX.... my 64mm comp, 71mm turbine and 14cm housing i lost 200-250 rpm of spoolup..... it uses a higher powerband across the board according to my dyno sheets. it takes alot to get that big 74mm wheel to get turning. and at a low rpm the flow just isn't there. what is your drag comp setting at?

I been tryin the comp at all differnt levels. usually 1x1 or 2x2 or 3x3. i havent really cranked it up mch more due to the amount of smoke it blows even on 1x1. 3x3 feels the same as 1x1.

i'm kind of new to the 24 valve stuff but dosen't one of those numbers represent lowend fueling? if so try adjusting that to see if you can get better spoolup. isn't there a 5x5? try that and see what happens. just watch the EGT's...... does the drag comp have a boost fooler? does your truck require one? are you throwing any codes (check engine light)?
