The ring is where the spray orifices contact the needle, not a wear ring.

Its a ring that has wear why cant it be called a wear ring?

If somebody isn't happy with this write up there is always room for another, feel free to jump in and make a better one.

Personally I'm just glad to finally have one even if some of the minute details may be questionable. If you already know enough to know those details then this article probably won't be of any use to you anyway.

I got my stockers back. I guess I just assumed most shops send the old nozzles with the injectors.

We they will if you ask, If they have more than 125k miles on them then they are pretty much junk...

I have an old set of nozzles they are worn bad on the needle seat. should I toss them in the garbage?

question.... if after putting mine in and it sounds kinda like i have a monster VP is that a problem? haha ... truck mostly runs fine but its looping a little like i have a monster vp on. So i figured that cant be all that good.
