We just built an 01 HO motor for a customer, BD Super B Special, 75hp injectors, Smarty/Edge Comp stacked, Fass, balanced/blueprinted the bottom end and a Maxspool 2.5 camshaft. Thing lights extremely fast, faster than stock I would say. Great charger.

 

i have a super b too it was lagy at low end too until i put a cold air intake on

 

I im looking at getting the super b special but dont want it to be to laggy! I have the Fass 150/150 and edge jammer 100hp nozzles what does everyone think?

 

Its going to have some lag with just running 100hp injectors.

 

So in that case it would benifit me more to go with the super b.?

 

If you can put up with some Lag then the Special will be fine.

 

you just gotta adjust your driving habbits. the special likes high rpms. it took me a while to learn how to drive it but now that i know how. its aswome

Only if you decided down the road to go with larger injectors but BD has a kit to take the Super B and turn it into a set of twins.
