i bought a smoked 3rd brake light for my 99 dodge from darrel at dpp. he had a killer deal and couldnt pass it up.

first u have to take the 2 phillips screws out of the stock 3rd brake light


then u pull the bulbs out of the stock 3rd brake light. then u have to pull both center bulbs out of the wire harness.



and plud the new wire into the stock sockets for the leds



then u push the wires and put the stock socket into the 3rd brake light and the two outer bulbs into there place



then reinstall the two phillips head screws back into it

Looks good! I got a Recon smoked 3rd. brake light in mine. The only thing I dont like is the cargo lights are LED and there not that bright. Your cargo lights look much brighter.

 

this one uses the stock ones, and there alot brighter then the led brake light
