i was under the impression they replaced the stock pillar alltogether.there $60+,so i would hope they don't attach to the stock pillar.if thats the case,i'll be mounting them in another location for sure.

I now offically have gauges in my truck but..... I didnt install the new pod over the stock pillar just took it out and installed the new on worked well looks nice and fits perfect for me dont know if it is technically the right way it was supposed to be done but it works nicely wires are hidden and everything. The installation was pretty simple like you all have said the manifold drilled and tapped nicely everything went smoothly. Was going to take pics and post my process but it was only about 18 deg out today and I dont have a cushy heated shop just the cold cold ground . So I didnt take the time to take pics just got the gauges installed and hooked up and all is well. Lines and wires are routed neatly everything for a clean install. And thanks all of you for the help and advice. I did notice now its time for a new LP set up either a raptor or airdog being that now my fuel pressure is at a low of 8psi after the truck runs for awhile. So from one mod to the next I guess what a vicious cycle But like the slogan says BETTER OFF MODIFIED BABY
