Will They Fit?
it depends on the back spacing of the wheel also. 285 75 17s on a 3rd gen wheel, rubs the control arm when u hit a bump while turning. i ran good year wranglers 305 70 17s, and u couldnt even come close to full turn, it would rub the control arm so bad. but if they had more of an offset, they would clear everything else fine
Like he said your gaining rim height but loosing tire sidewall height. So basically .5" difference in height and narrower.
and if i rub the control arms i can just get spacers correct?
Right now i have 16x10 Rims and 305-70-16 (33x12.50R16) tires
Im wanting to go to
17x9 Rims and a 285X70R17D (33X11.50R17)
how do you think that will look?

DM, if you go look at my photo album you can see pics of mine. I'm runnin 17" 3rd Gen wheels with 35x12.50 r17 BFG Mud Terrain tires. I have a 2" level kit and they just rub the control arms a little bit with the wheels turned all the way. So with a 33" you oughta be fine even with no level kit.
I have the KORE leveling kit , its 3 Inches but it pushed the front tires closer to the fender , i had to take my mud flaps off and go with the fender flars becuase they were hitting my mud flaps , so you think i could run 35's?
well im pretty set on the pro comp tires
I keep changing my rims tho

Sidebitters look nice
with the pro comps

The 33's will be safer thats for sure , and im going up in rim size and 1 inch skinner as well as 1 inch skinner tire too , getting my mind make up here
