Default Will They Fit?

295X70R17E (33.5X11.50R17) On my truck ?

TYPE 8089 GLOSS BLACK - PRO COMP WHEEL

with
OPEN COUNTRY MT - TOYO TIRES

I have 305X70R16E (33X12.50R16) now on a 16x10

I want a tire thats a little taller and just a little skinnier

so with a 295X70R17E (33.5X11.50R17) ill gain 3" of height ? and lose 1 inch of width and a 17x9 rim will be 1 inch thinner as well

i dont know if they would clear?

I ran 315's with a 2" hell bent steel leveling kit. They would just rub the control arms at full lock. I'd say you might be alright because mine had 285's stock and had plenty of room leftover. Worst case you add $100 lift to the front end.

If you can, I would stay away from Toyo tires. I had a set of open country A/T's in 315/75R16 that were bald after 23k miles....

I'm running 305/70R16's on my 01, have a 2.5" leveling kit, and no rubbing issues. My truck came with 35x12.50R16's Toyo Open Country MT's, they rubbed a lot on the control arms before full steering lock due to the lugs on the side wall. I took those damn tires OFF due to the road noise, rubbing on the control arms, and there is no reason for tires like that to pound pavement. Money in the toilet. I personally think my Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors look better anyway, and they don't rub, and are nice and quite.

x2 on staying away from toyo's. Check out the Cooper STT's.

PCT67285
33X11.00R-17

What about the procomps these would be a little skinner and still give me my 17 " rim

Inch of rim diameter, not necessarily overall tire height.

Those 17s are less than a half inch taller than the 305s you have now - barely noticeable as far as overall diameter goes.

Look into the Mickey Thompson ATZ tires. Nice tread pattern and they wear better then the other two. Guy that I work with has a mega cab he had procomps on about this time last year. Come March he had them bald and put on the ATZ's They have 15000 miles on them and still look like new.
