Mechanical gauges are exactly that a mechanical, physical or analog signal send to the display. It is for all intents and purposes real not a bunch of 1's and 0's. There is nothing wrong with digital but it can provide false information if the system you choose is buggy. Some of the newer trucks look better with digital but all the older trucks in my opinion look way better with an A pillar pod.

Of course it is all personal opinion.

I've also heard recently, that stacking the smarty with the juice can cause issues, due to the safety interlocks built into the juice...I know guys have done it, but one of the guys I know said his buddy had issues with a smarty stack with his juice.
