yours being a 99 it has vacuum controlled cruise and that is the easiest to get working, im trying to figure out what you have to do to get your cruise to work right...

im not out for a lot of power but the p-pump would be a good pump to tweek if i ever wanted to. i might go with a 24v blue chip pump and be done with it. i will keep talking and looking to see what i want to do so when i get ready to i can.

yeah if your not looking to make your truck a competition truck then there really, to be honest, no reason to have a p- pump you can make 600 HP on fuel only with a good VP and that would be way more then enough for the street

that is why i was looking in to the p-pump swap to see if it would be worth the trouble. Its only a street truck so the vp will probly supply plenty of power for now.

for pretty much only a street truck, id say stay with the vp44 imo. get the special x pump, give ya a few more hp just with the pump and be alot better pump than most
