Default aftermarket lift pump?

My old mech. fp guage took a dump so i installed a new o-60 psi Autometer yesterday, now i am reading about 10 psi at idle and as low as 3 psi throttling up a good hill, not sure how long its been this low since my old guage was reading 9 psi with the truck switched off and pegged out at idle, anyways i changed the fuel filter and no difference, so im sure my lift pump is bad, my ? is quite a few guys around here are running a holly pump with a water seperater, whats the down side of this? I dont really have the $ for a FASS or AIRDOG right now.

save your money and buy a airdog 150 than you will never have to buy another one

not much of a downside, anything is better than a stock lift pump. A water seperator is good but will not remove air like the fass or airdog, no lifetime warranty either.

you can make it work with the holley for now, but it's still 120 or so for it. You can get a raptor for 3something and it's an airdog with no filters. fass even makes a pump too I believe with out filters

You can't go wrong with either the Airdog 150 or Raptor 150.
