Well I am in the market for a manifold and from this I can tell you it will not be a HTT.

Looks like they lost another customer.

 

well i can say this, as long as i have been in the diesel scene, the last 7 years, this is the second manifold that i have heard of cracking, this is the first one on a street driven truck. the other was on a race truck and it "melted" due to HIGH EGT's.... looked like a torch was taken to it.... unsure of a manufacture of it though.... i am not defending them in any way but they aren't perfect, something is going to fail one day..... it just sux that you happened to get the one that cracked....

 

I've been talking to a few guys on different forums & I am not the first guy to have problems with HTT manifold. I paid good money for this junk thinking I was solving a problem, not creating one. I'm very disappointed to say the least, but like the saying goes "Live and Learn". I've learned a valueable lesson from this.

 

Have you talked to them and they wont work with you? They should stand behind it.

 

Several phone conversations & a few emails. I felt like I was speaking Chinese. Only reply they would give me is "contact the dealer you bought it from, they are not a HTT dealer so warranty is through them." Uhhhh, weren't you the primary distributor of this HTT manifold $%^&*&^%$.
