the comp on level 5 will add about 120 hp, so i think your truck stock is probably right around 220-230 so add another 120 and you are right around 340 or so off of the engine... now hp at the wheels will be lower maybe like 280 or so... (i think?!)
I would skip the edge comp and go with a Quadzilla adrenaline..I had the comp, it was/is a great product, normal version is about 120 hp, and the hot comp is right around 140+hp... (might be wrong there too??) I put the Adrenaline in my truck and absolutely love it over the Comp. the adrenaline can make upwards of 180 hp too! You can download all kinds of custom performance tunes from the quadzilla website and upload them onto the Adrenaline for free!!!
Just something to think about.

You'll see around 300-320HP give or take.

Pick the box you want to run and go for it.

As far as the trans, unless you know how to properly assemble it, it'll be tough to make it last. We sell trans rebuild kits, ect, but that comes with no technical assistance.

at the wheels with an edge comp should be in the 320 range. I did 319 on mine.

Thanks for the help guys, I'm thinking about building the trans for around 500hp so I can have plenty of room to grow.
As for tuners I'm still so confused on which way to go, addrenline or comp. I have been debating this for a while now.
With the addrenline without pulse can I still download stuff?
I wanted to use mechanicle guages.
Thanks!

I think I have worse things to worry about now.
Since where on the topic I'll explain: When going about 40-45mph right as the truck shifts into higher gear and me keeping a steady foot on the throttle the truck kinda lugs a few times and the rpm jumps a few 100rpm, drops, jumps, drops, ect.. It happens at 30-35 before It shifts now too but not as bad. It feels as if I where to let up and down on the throttle eventhough I'm not.

Does anyone have any ideas? I just noticed this today and I'm pissed. I just turned 100k miles too.

Sounds like torque converter cycling.

Clean your battery cables and battery posts really well. If that does not fix it, get a DTT noise filter.

What does it mean when its cycling?
And what is a DDT noise filter?
I'm kinda confused why my trans will act weird because of that.
Thank you for the info!

Torque converter keeps locking and unlock electroniclly.Ckeck also on the pass. side battery there is a cable neg. side that has a grey clip that you can unplug if you need to replace the neg.cable make sure that is also clean.Noise filter keeps the electrical interferance from the alternator out of the curcuit that controls the lock up.

Yes, you can still upload different tunes from the website ( I dont have the pulse either) but I do have Boost and Pyro gauges. You can (but you dont have to, I didnt) hook up the wires that come with the Adrenaline, then you can see your Fuel pressure, EGT, Boost, and oil temp, unfortunatly you can only view one at a time, screen is too small to see all of them at once.
