Default injetor problems

Can someone give me some info on what is going on with my truck. Its been running fine but this week it has started to lose power and smoke realy bad off the take off, it won't even do a burn out it just smokes black. Its building boost (23lb) on take off and pyro is not any more than 1000. Could the stock injectors be bad or did i get my set up off.
thanks

I'd be willing to bet, you have a hole in one of your intercooler boots! check the bottom ones, really well they like to cut into the inner fender!

If your makin lot's a black smoke odds are pretty good your injectors are fine. They typically clog up and you end up with no smoke since your not gettin enough fuel to the cylinders and black smoke is an excess of fuel. They could just be wore out and not sprayin right which could still leave you smokin with no power but the odds are against it.

Why am I not seein an aftermarket High Pressure Lift Pump in your signature. If your runnin the rest of the equipment listed in your signature on a stock LP your doomed to spend a lot a money here very soon.

I do have a after market lift pump, but it's not a very good one it got me buy at the time. It's a BD lift pump, got plans for a Fass. The smoke is a thick black, that I have not seen out of this truck before. It keeps getting worse and worse. I will check all the boots and every thing from the turbo to the intake. the truck dose have 210,000 on the stock fuel system. thanks for all the help

If your cooler boots check out ok I would try removing the quadzilla or the boost fooler and make sure that is not causing a problem, it almost makes me think that it has your timing off and possibly overfueling at the same time wich would cause a **** load of smoke because your sig said you build 26 psi of boost and to be 3 psi less and have that much more smoke with a 3 psi loss is a suspicion good luck keep us posted.

yes, it dose have 210,000 on it and its all stock except what is in sig. i was
concerned about the VP as well as the injectors. Im thanking that maybe the stock injectors are not fueling correctly and flooding the cylinders., Ether way i will get it figured out. Thanks for all your input on my problem . I will keep posted on the problem

If your runnin that many miles still on the stock injectors, ya it's time to at least have em pop tested cause you can bet they are bad even if this isn't your primary problem right now it will be when you burn up a cylinder. Most injection shops will test em for free as long as you pull em.
