2000 Dodge 2500, 5.9 24V...Hello Everyone, I'm new to this site.. Like it though. Hope some one can help.. Little background, I had a injection pump go bad, So I decided that it was time to ugrade some things. Did stage1 injectors 60hp+ from Deisel care and performance, did Airdog 150, Did new 5" exhaust, Did Power edge W/attitude(not connected yet), Did new inj pump. Still no start
Fast forward, Sent to dealer, I just didn't bleed airdog enough, Started after that. Ran very rough.Dealer said I had bad injectors(my new ones). So I paid him to put in another set I exchanged. Ran great, BUT went to pick up and Engine now has a Off Idle rapping sound. Quite at ilde, But only under accel, or in park off idle. Sounds like a rocker or something. Has that one cylinder rotation sound. pulled dip stick, Has diesel in oil, They ran it 5 or 6 times. I think something is damaged from that, The dealer tech says that it's a harmonic sound from stage one injectors. That pop off pressure is higher. Anyone ever have rapping sound from new injectors??? OH, One last thing. The amber light for low pressure on the airdog comes on just for a few seconds,then goes out sometimes when coming to stop...
