Default Fass,Airdog,Ect...?

First off I wanna say I just got the truck, its an 01 2500, extra cab 8' bed automatic 4x4
Of course I wanna make it quick and go to diesel events this summer where I live but first I am going to do basic maintenance to get the truck perfect and get familiar with my first diesel I actually own. Second I wanted to get guages and mostly a fuell pressure guage and "alarm" for low FP. Than before the "cool" stuff I was going to get an aftermarket LP this way when I add power I can actually handle it without blowin the vp44.
My questions are...should I get the LP or the LP/Filters? Can I add the fuel/water seperator on the LP if I buy just the LP for now? What way would you go as in buy them together or no? Lastly, what brand and what site/vendor do you deal with?

Thanks for the help!!!

If you want a simple reliable system, you don't need the system with the filters. You have a good filtering element right now and the filter changes are easy. However, some guys do prefer the full systems and I do understand that as well.

The prices are about as low as they are gonna get. So your timing is right.

I would not worry about a fuel pressure alarm. They are not all that accurate and most guys watch the gauges that are in the truck, so no sense in doubling up.

And who do I deal with? Vulcan of course! But I think the reason for that one is obvious.

Ok thanks, I'll probably just get the FP guage and the LP with the filters. I'll check out Vulcan. Thanks!

If your going to get a programmer get a edge juice with attitude or a quadzilla adrenaline as they both have gauges including a fuel pressure gauge. This option is less than buying a programmer and mechanical gauges.

Thanks all for the feedback, was lookin at the Quadzilla with Pulse but need to know if it has a FP guage because thats one I really wanted along with the 3 other needed ones. I heard the guages on the chips monitors arent as accurate as mechanicle guages....?
Also when looking at LP's I saw 150/150 I asuume the first 150 is the GPH but the second? I also saw things like 150/100 ect.
Just wondering the right pump to buy, was going to get a 150GPH
Will check diesel dawgs too, thanks

Oh ok, would it be ok if I run a 150ghp till I add a tuner and other extra's?
Do I need to worry about too much FP?
I would like to get the best pump I can so I have that taken care of so when I add the tuner it can handle it...
