The Smarty will help on the low end especially since it reduces TQ Management on trucks with the 47re transmission. But it hurts the top end.

I know I had awsome top end and then I put that in and it was gone. So I shouldn't have the smarty on level 9. I'll try it on level 8. Thanks for the input guys.

yeah with the comp adding timing the smarty on nine will add even more timeing and that could spell disaster, on level eight it just adds fuel

we lost power on the dyno with the smarty, i love in my hand shaker but on the auto it's not necessary. unless you want to go 180 mph and take away the torque management.

So with someone like me that never gets over 2500 Revs then it might be just the ticket?
The only thing I'm thinking is I always hated how my Edge would pile on the power and it was tough to take off with a heavy load without piles of smoke and huge amounts of torque running though the 'train.

I know with the Smarty Stacked with the Edge on my old 01 the throttle was EXTREMELY touchy.

yes, smarty with edge comp/juice was very touchy. I took mine off after I had my fun with it on a few WOT runs. It was not very practical for daily driving or towing. My adrenaline alone feels about the same as the stack mentioned above.

My favorite feature was the 1/2power tune for the 2nd gens. I wish they had a setting like that for the 3rd gen. A valet switch or 1/2 power setting would be nice for the other family members to use.
