Clutch Longevity
Hey guys, i have a stock clutch with 104,500 miles on it, last night i attempted a burnout but instead of burning my tires a burnt my clutch, smoke and all, one would have thought it was tire smoke from a distance! How much life do i have left in my clutch ya think. I drove it after and theres no slipping yet

hahaha my uncle did this a few times!!! he had an 03 and couldnt burnout with his 35"s. The stock cluthc had 40k on it. If it aint slipping your fine, i know my uncle drove his like that for another 10k, but he had a fourwheeler accident that left him with one leg... he had to sell his truck

Ya, you may have only glazed it. If so, the glaze will eventually wear off, just dont try that no more. Or, if you wanna do a burnout, get a rolling start, floor it, then hit the brakes, since the tires are already moving and clutch is engaged, the rear brakes should slip easier. Better yet, dont do burnouts
