Thinkin of a turbo upgrade
#12
Anyways welcome. and all kidding aside, I would agree with everybody else. a 62/71 or a 62/65 would be good for you. Or if you don't want to spend that much I'd send your turbo in to HTT and get a 35/40 hybrid. It will cool you down quite a bit but it won't have as much room to grow.
You coul also try a garrett 3788R or a 4088R. Though they are Ball bearing turbos and will be more expensive. Or you could adapt a HE351 from a common rail truck. Or try your hand at a HE351V and try to make the variable vane work on your truck.
Its all up to you...

First off, pushing the stock turbo to that boost is part of the problem. Limit boost to 34psi. Drive pressures are most likely off the map.
Some head gaskets go at 40, some at 50. But I would seriously look at upgrading everything at once.
As far as turbos, skip the BD super B. Not enough compressor increase and the only gain is on the exhaust side. We sell both HTT and II and BD turbos, but anything in the 62/65-12/13 range will spool fast. With the stick you can take the 71mm turbine as well. If you are going to add lots of fuel, the 64mm might be an option, but it'll be laggy now.
