Default Exhaust manifold.. performance questions?

I have been looking at an aftermarket manifold for my truck, all look like they are well made but what kind of performance gains from just adding the manifold? does it spool up quicker? lower exhaust? better hp, mpg? Im looking for honest input here not what the manufactures say in their website... thanks again!

I would run the stock manifold, unless your stocker is cracked. Put your money into something that will make a gain. Maybe some bigger stixs?

i like the ats unit...solid, reliable unit, and when you decide to put on two spinners, just flip it upside down and it bolts right up...as mentioned though, id only get it if your current one is in a bad state....egt's will be tad lower but youd get alot more for your money elsewhere ($200 could get you a shot of water/meth)...

Do they leak where the parts are connected to each other?
Seems like it might, and I gotta say I've had about all the carbon Monoxide I can handle
