600hp on a stock 47RE?

 

yes sir. when bought the truck, the only thing it had was an upgraded valve body, thats it. this truck was bone stock. when i added 400 additional hp, the trans is about to explode. i would say anyday

 

damn...my tranny started to dislike me after the edge

 

X2 my old 01 started slipping with the Comp on Level 3.

 

yep, she been a dog for me, but too much torque is getting to the old 47re. i realized i was getting too much power for my tranny when slipping came and i was losing traction on the dyno. time to put that power to the asphalt a little better

 

just breaking the 400 mark and pieces of my tranny were laying in the bottom of the pan when we removed it...it was to the point where my entire truck would shudder going into overdrive (accelerating at a normal pace)...get that thing done quick or you're gonna literally destroy the entire thing

 

mine is doing that right now. when i got my sticks put in, it shutters when i go into overdrive with sissy pedal. i am getting it rebuilt this weekend by a guy in my town who builds trans for sled pulling trucks
