Default Glacier Systems

I was talking to a guy over the weekend and he mentioned he had a Glacier system on his Cummins. Dumb me, I didnt think at the time to ask him about it. So I was wondering if anyone here has that system on their diesel and if you could fill me in on it more.

It's just a Walbro Pump, fittings, regulator and larger fuel lines. It is marketed by Glacier Diesel Systems.

I have been running the Glacier Diesel 392 kit for a year now and has been working great. Runs at 15# idle and drops to 13# WOT. You can floor it and it will drop to 13# for a second or two and then back to about 15#. I also got the big line kit from the fuel filter to the VP and also the 1/2" pickup tube. Richard is great to deal with.

I will agree with MY02 on customer service. It's a fact that I have never had a vendor work so hard for me or pay so much attention to me after the sale to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted as Richard did.

I am curious if you had to flip a coin and decide going with a Glacier System or a FASS which would you hope it fell to and why?

Just bought one. Happy to hear that the pumps work well.

Any advice before I install it?

Just finished installing the Glacier kit. Wow, should have done this along time ago. Fuel pressure ~18 at idle and drops to 17 at WOT.

I have the Glacier system on my truck. I love it and I loved the customer service. I had a problem and I called Richard at 7pm on a Saturday and he helped me through the problem. My system is about 16psi idle and 13 WOT. I have one more shim for my regulator that I could add in which would get me up to around 18psi but I have never installed it cause I didn't see the point. The VP never sees less then 13psi.

I have had my kit on about 6 months (25,000 miles) and have had ZERO problems with it. My initial problem was just being to low on fuel.

I also have his 2 micron fuel filter kit on it and it works great too. I love the whole setup.
