well hell, I got one on the way, gloss red with 4 ports, boost, 2 for water meth, and an extra just in case I will get some up close pics and let ya know base metal info as wel, fit finish and seat o pants results.

just got home and installed the intake, looks great went in easy, seat o pants can't tell, too much traffic, not enough road.

i wouldnt be getting my hopes up for that seat of the pants feeling...the only thing horns will do is cool you down just a tad, maybe give you a little more boost (assuming you have it j-hooked or elbowed) and really nothing in the neighborhood of power...they have been dynoed many times and have shown no real gains unless they are on rigs pushing lots and lots of air...id save my money and stay get soemthing else (espically with those welds)...they can make a dirty engine bay look pretty though

I have heard that the 3rd gens benefit from the horns as the stock one is restrictive due to the way the bolts are in the flow area. btw that one looks good

i wouldnt pay 50 bucks for a piece of muffler tubing mig welded together..thats **** poor welding and damn sure aint no 155 bucks worth. ill make ya some outta ss tig welded and polished for 150 bucks..are you kiddin me...

i blow snot rockets that look better than them welds

by all means folks, start weldin and put them in the classifieds, basement enterprise section. I don't have a shop, nor the layout, nor the time to fisk something like that together, thats why I paid to have it done for me, I can handle the install, and for me it makes a lot more sense than payin big bux for some big cast beast that has a logo cast into the side of it.

My bad,still seen better welding,if that's tig welded he needs more practice.

Any drop in EGT's? Or increase in throttle response? I've talked to a couple people running the CFM intakes, on 12v's and common rails, and they said that both throttle response and EGT's were helped by adding one. I've been meaning to build one as I think it could be done in an evening, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Any input on what you think about it would be great.
