Default What can i do to my 2001??

I just purchased a 2001 cummins 24 valve with an auto trans. I was wondering what are the best performance parts for the price. What is the best chip/programmer out there for this truck that has a fuel mileage tune?? What kind of exhaust should i get sorry no stacks?? What kind of intake is the best?? What are some of the best mods out there. 400 hp or more is what i'm looking for..

Diamond Eye has low prices for good exhaust , I like my Quadzilla Box , There not much of a difference on the intakes , You will need injectors and a turbo to street 400+ HP on a 2nd gen

here is my mods.. and i am pushing a lil over 500hp and a lil over 1000 trq..cant push it harder to see what it will do.. scared of head gaskit might get spit out

have you dyno'd or are you guessing your HP ? , I dont think im anywhere near 500HP and we have similar mods

first of all, stay away from the adrenaline, its junk, just read the forums here and see how many people have issues with them. the best and safest boxes on the market are the edge juice with attitude and the TST powermax. personally, even though i run an edge juice, i reccomend TST, mark, the owner, knows waaaay more about that motor then anybody else, hell he designed the damn thing and cummins still has him help out with electronic programs. just my 2 cents

500 hp and no valve springs no way and if thats a stock turbo and without head studs find this a little hard to believe

edge juice w/ att. (you get all the gauges), bhaf for the intake, get a 5" exhaust, air dog or fass, and some 100 hp injectors and youll be right about 400 on the dot...that's gonna be destroying your tranny though so start saving for that...do the tranny all at once and never worry about it again (tc, vb, billet input, flex plate)...that right there would be a real nice setup...even better would be a small turbo like an s3000...whatever you do, get some gauges and make sure you are preparing to replace that tranny

says he has a phat shaft so im guessing its a 62/12 (or 14)...he should be sitting right at 500...only thing weak on that setup is the jammers....if it's wastegated at 45 or less, he should be able top run it all day long...
