Edge EZ or Superchips?
I had a Superchips microtuner on my truck, it actually was on it when I bought it. It was ok, but it didnt cost me anything. Then I took it off because it started making my truck do weird things like a stumble at idle or just shut down for no reason at idle. Took it off and no problems, VP is fine. I still have the Superchips for use as a scanner. I have the Hypertech now which I like a lot better than superchips, I am scared to get a chip that taps my pump wire which will void my VP warranty
I ran the tst and drag comp (in EZ mode) with the smarty and loved the combo. I don't know about the superchips but I would say the ez is a better combo.jmo. But I never tried the superchips
as i said before they are rated at the same power so it's a guess as to which will stack better without trying them out on a dyno.. being that edge or SC won't just give us all the specs on them
i don't know what else anyone is gonna tell ya
Ya i had the Smarty /Comp stack and it was great. Kinda miss it. But my main reason for getting rid of the Smarty was i couldn't use the cruise with it.
I ran it on Sw4 comp 3x3 for daily driving, and for tailgaters all i had to do was punch it up to 5x5 and roll the coal!
It's a very nice stack as long as you don't use cruise.

I had tried both and preferred superchips over the edge ez. The edge ez kept setting my cel with an overboost code. But I didn't see better power than with superchips. I also felt safer with superchips for some reason. Lastly I like how superchips allows a customization of tire height and speedo. Using edge ez your speedo will be off if you have change tires and rims like I did. Hope this helps you!
