If you are looking for an inexpensive intake, look at S&B filters. They make great intake systems that not only look good, but also flow 40+% more than factory. 94-02 Dodge 5.9L Cummins S&B Performance Intake Kit

my k&n runs fine too. actually when they get a little dirty the filter better than the dryflow filter in heavily dusty areas. When I pulled my hy off my truck I had very little dirt built up on it and I didn't own the thing for the first 110k on it.but you can't beat the price and effectiveness of the bhaf

You defintely can do much better than a BHAF. There is the AFE Pro-Dry S and AEM Dry-Flow. Both are around $50 and are washable and non oilable. Why throw a BHAF away? Doesnt make sense to me at all.
