1st impressions

Where did my smoke GO ? Truck has about 1/2 the power it did have with the NOSURGE tune . Surge Seems to of stopped , Fueling is smoother

The Gauges/Monitoring on the pulse is WICKED !! I Love it and the abillity to put up what 8 i want to monitor .

I have no idea where to set my custom tune , Timing and Ect...

What are your guys settings?

OH yeah and i set the high idle for 125* and when the water got to that temp the high idel was still on , whats up with that?

I think im going to mount this in front of the ash tray on the bottom of the dash

my high idle is set for 125* to it shuts off at about 126*-128* some where around there

That could explain it .

does the custom settings variable change when you load different tunes into the adrenaline? because when i first looked at the custom tuning variables they were all the way down and this was suppose to be a comp tune

Basically, your smoke is gone because you are running on the minimums. In otherwords, you aint seen nothing yet.

Just to get you started in the right direction, go into the custom tuning menu, select load tune(file) and select restore factory defaults.

This will get you going with the COMP Tune and it will run right and smoke right!

Here is a little explanation I posted on another site.

OK, we finally found out at least one isse with the new ver 1.3.2 update. Luckily it is a simple bug to fix and easy for the end user to go around it.

Basically upon downloading ver 1.3.2 there is an initialization issue when it gets plugged into the Adrenaline.

What happens is that the Pulse thinks it is in Custom Tuning profile, TUNE 2. This profile would normally send the max settings to the Adrenaline but, since this is a bug, it is sending the minimums.

Symptoms:

Lack of power
On goes up to PL03
No Smoke

Fix:

Enter the Custom Tuning menu, select Load Tune, selct Factory Defaults.

Problem solved forever. Everything after this point will be normal.

We will have a ver 1.3.3 that resolves this but, if you do the fix as stated above there is no point in updating it.


Next Problem, Pulse will not update:

First, try talking with Tech support and see if you can get it working. The Pulse should be easy to update.

We had an ex-employee that had a bad habit of not loading the bootloader properly on some Pulses. There were not that many, in the scheme of things, but, I don't have an exact count as she circumvented the system and they all look like they were flashed correctly.

Unfortunately, this fix is easy but, it has to be sent to us. While it is here we will gladly update the Pulse for you as well.


If you have any questions please let me know.

Now, if you do like I mentioned, there is no need for you to update your Pulse to the new version.
