get a adjustable track bar to get your front axle centered under the truck

I'm back. Don't know if anyone's an MMA fan but I won fight Sat. night by triangle choke in 1:13 of the first round. Yessss!!! Anyways on the truck...I think it sitting stock. I just didn't realize it. I'm going to ad these 2" spacers for now and then when I can afford it go bigger. Thanks again for all the replies and I'll talk to you guys later.

Do you have to use a spring compressor to put these leveling kits on? I've put lift kits before and I don't remember using a spring compressor. Seems like I just cranked up an end of the truck and the spring came out. This truck is bigger and heavier being a diesel, but can I just do it the same way. How did you guys with leveling kits do yours? And is it simple?

If cost is that much of a concern, then stay stock. The spacers are generally junk and if there is a set for sale that is because they are falling apart or the previous owner saw the light and was sick of dealing with poor alignments or something of that sort.

For $300 you can get Carrier Springs and 2 new front shocks. You don't use depressors to install these things. Jack the front up and take the load of the wheels and pull the shocks out the top and the springs out the sides.

By replacing the OEM stuff that is likely well over its life span your handling and ride will improve dramatically. Adding a track bar, a DSS and some Luke's Links will also make things better. Replace the OEM lower control arms as the end of this upgrade.
