I'm running a Smarty TSTcomp stack and not really happy with it.
I've been on other forums postin about a misfire i have when running the two togather. I'm also using aMonster vp and really big injectors. Right now i'm running smarty on 2 all default settings and it is slowing my truck down it seems.

I found a person tha'd trade me their Adrenaline and buy a pulse for me as well for my tst and smarty. I'm going to dyno this sat with my current setup and then switch over to the ADR. What tunes seem to be the best universal tune to run? I already have really bad surging at ANY speed with low rpm's. I'm just lookiing for a smooth nice pull for all speeds and power there when i want it.

Also who all thinks i'm getting the shorter end of the stick.

Gota love those HRVP pumps, Most surge. The TST/smarty stack made more power than the Q/A for me. Only 16hp more but it is more. I run the ADRCOMP1 file in the quad most of the time for daily use on 1-3 level 1 is the only one that dont surge. With the TST I run it on 0-6 and the Smarty on 9, this stack has less surge than 2 and up with the Q/A but is too touchy for wet & stop & go driving, fuel mileage sucks with this stack too.

Lord I don't know what to do. I keep hearing somewhat negative things about the ADR and the drag comp/smarty stack. I think I'm just going to go with the ADR mainly because of the ALL the adjustability with the pulse. Who has gone from the drag comp/smarty stack to the ADR? That's who I wanna hear from.

I have. I think the Comp/Smarty has more power. However I like the adjustability and the features of the Pulse.

Are you reffering to a Monster vp or a HRVP. I got horrible surging without electronics and when I have them on a low setting its like my motor mounts are out or a u-joint not seated.

as of friday night i now have an adr in my truck. although its not exactly an edge comp, my tst sure did alot with the smarty stacked with it. I can say that I am very very happy with the Adrenaline. All the small features makes it seem like it sells itself. the low end bogging i had from the smarty is gone now. With the ADR and the monster on the bottom it feels just like the smarty did with my old SO pump. Its REALLY strong. I run the comp tune and I think i'll hold on to this one for awhile.

i run my adrenaline with the comp tune all the time. level 1 is fine for me around town and i found that level 7 is best at the track with my setup. I like the power it produces and the truck sure likes it to. 12.8 in the 1/4 is doing pretty good for just bolt on H/P.at this altitude.
I also got back from a trip to Texas and my mileage was 19.5 per gallon. Kinda hard to beat this set up

ill be honest, once they get the bugs worked out, ill probably go to one, but im not doing that till its been out for at least a 1, maybe more just because of the 3 local guys who have ahad ton of problems running that thing, as well as several people on cummins forum, so im going to wait it out like i did with the juice, that way theres plenty of time for quad to fix the issues they have or may have as the adr gets miles put on it.

The ADR2000 bucks for me! Way too much surge!
What other one should I try?
Thanks!

I'm going to try the ADRCOMP tune and see how that is. I will be towing this weekend about 700 miles and I want to find one that doesn't surge.
