Default CFM+ To do or not to do

On the VP44 Cummins it is more for looks than function. If your going to upgrade get the ATS ArcFlow.

I would probably get some RV275's then when you get a Turbo jump up to some 150's or even 200's.

Hey Luke, why do you prefer ATS? just curious.

Another thing: it's interesting how the CFM+, and ATS and AFE for that matter, can give pretty significant gains on CR trucks around the 1900 rpm range (Tri-Valley Diesel in NorCal did a few dyno runs with different manifolds) but not on VP44 trucks?

Can anyone say why that is?

Thanks, Mike.

Personally, the CFM+ or other intake horn is not something I will do until I am completely out of modifications, the gains just aren't enough in general.

Its because the factory flows good already on the VP44 trucks.
